House Four

Private Residence | Pound Ridge, NY | Unbuilt

House Four is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, structural insulated panel living space located in Bedford, New York. Structural insulated panels (SIP) are prefabricated panels that are load-bearing which provide adequate insulation for a home as part of the panel system. Relatively recent in the innovation of SIPs is their possibility to be fabricated with curve. From a design standpoint, this offered us the opportunity to use curved panels to negotiate between spaces, as well as a curved roof structure.

Project Team: Daisy Ames, Alek Tomich, and Angela Sun. Models by Adare Brown and Vicky Achnani.
